BDC Problem..

Hi abapers,

I hav doubt.

. After running a BDC program in background, next day morning when we see the results, few records are not updated (error records). What will you do then?

can any one help me in getting the answer.

Hi satish,

try to run the BDC in foreground to see the mistakes

and correct it.

Hope you have not a lot of mistake in the BDC-Map.

Hi Satish,

You can get the Incorrect list of the Batch input sessions in the Transaction - <b>SM35</b>.

You can select the Incorrect sessions in SM35 &

try executing the same in foreground from SM35 itself.

The error will be notified(check where we r getting error), and rerun with the corect valed.

or if u run d error session error records only will show pop-up and then change the wrong value to correct value.

if records are not updated than there must be some prob with the records, so they might not have updated while you run in the background,

try to run the program in the foreground and see which are the record not updated yet, and see why they have not been updated, if there is some prob with the records than your updation has been complete successfully, if not than manually update those records if they are less, otherwise run the bdc for those particular records.
