We all know that in BDCDATA, field value max length is 80 characters. What happened if we give more than that say 100 length.

Hi,
It will take only the maximum length of BDCDATA-VAL.
Probably you are working lower version of SAP. It has only 80 CHAR lenth for BDCDATA-VAL.

These lengths will vary based on the SAP R/3 Release saye 46c,46d etc..
