BDC errors through telnet session only

Hello,

I am having problem with a BDC that works fine using the SAP GUI but when I run the same BDC through a telnet session it errors out.

The BDC is set up in mode 'N' (do not display) but the problem appears because the BDC is working with an ALV Grid.

Any ideas?

For whatever reason you cannot run a BDC though a telnet session or RF gun.
