Batch Input creation error

Hi Group,

I have a question on the Batch Input creation.

Thing is, I have an input file and I need to process it and create a session.

Now the issue is that, when try to create a session using the interface and running it manually, I am getting the information of the tax amounts.

And when I create a batch job to run the interface, I could not get values into the tax amount field in the session.

I would like to know why this was happening when in both the cases, the same interface is being triggered with the same input file?

Please kindly give me your valuable inputs from your side on this.

thanks in advance.

Regards,

Vishnu.

Hi Vishnu,

RFBIBL00 is a report used for the import and creation of financial documents. Call transaction SA38, enter RFBIBL00, execute. When on selection screen, use menu help-application help.

Read and follow the steps as suggested.

It takes some time but after you are through you will always use this standard program which is commonly used and has been successfully tested for various situations by thousands of users.

Hi Vishnu,

I would recommend that you do a proper recording of the transaction for which you want to do a BDC. Just check whether you are providing all the values to the screens or not while processing the session through your BDC program.

Alternately you can try using the program RFBIBL00. This is a standard program used for entering accounting documents and for clearing open items. Just go to the selection screen of the program & refer the documentation provided by SAP . You will be able to use the program then. (Press I button on the selection screen next to the execute button to refer to program documentation).

Regards,

Chetan.

PS:Reward points if this is helpful.

Hi,

I am not aware of this program "RFBIBL00" that you are referring to. Could you please tell me what will happen on using this report? Becoz, I am asking for some

solution why the batches were creating the sessions differently?

So please kindly clarify how the above report solves my requirement?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Vishnu,

I think there might be prooblem in your recording. When you do recording some fields will take default values. Same will be happened in the case if you run manually also. Please do proper recording and try a few times. Even if it does not work then you better go for bapi or any corresponding direct input program.

thanks and regards,
