Barcode with Smartforms

Hi,

I'm trying to use the barcode with the Smartform.

I have set a variable, for this variable I have selected a charactere type. In the charactere type, I have tried some codebar like C128A_00, EAN8.

The result didn't look ... very good, I have take a shot (more easy than describe the result)

(it's the result of 2 values: 12345678)

I you have idea about the problem.

Try changing the character format.

It doesn't look alright, but thats the way it works i guess.

Also try chaging the size of the font and see if it works.

Hi,

The main problem is because of the reason that you are attaching the barcode to the combination of two values.

So try first using the single value and see,still if its giving the same result.

If ur requirement is to use the combination of two values for barcode then this is fine.

I have maybe miss explain, I don't combine anything. There are two barcode in the ScreenShot. (it's a screenshot of a table)

Hi,

First we need to check whether the selected Barcode setting is supporting or not else it has to be configured in the printer.

Generally this is the job of Basis people try to discuss the same problme with them, guess they can help.

Hi Frédéric,

The format that is printing on screen mainly depends on the text for which you are trying to attach the barcode.

For ex : If you attach the barcode for normal text like xxxxxx it will display as shown in your screen shot...Now try attaching the same for some field(order no(vbeln)...etc to see the difference.

I have tried with a field describe as type n (7)

but it's always the same result: beautifull black square

Hi,

Do one thing. Use Transaction SE73.

Copy both C128A_00 and EAN8 into Zbar coide and do test print. If you sre still getting same results check with basis for re-installing system barcodes. Other wise check your Charcter type definition and assign with new Zbarcodes and see.
