Can we print to a barcode device from SAP? If any OSS notes or document available for this, please tell me.

Thanks for your reply. We have HP Laser printers. Can you please tell me with steps to perform barcode printing using sap printers or relevant OSS notes?

Oh ok, You can print a barcode in your SApscript and Smartforms. It is just a character format that you need to apply. There should be a field in the character formats where you can choose a barcode format. You will need to have a DIMM card for your printer in order to print the barcode, your basis people should be able to help with this.

Hi !

We had HP printers long time ago to... we switched then to the Kyocera printers becaus they have many many barcode-fonts build in - for free !

They are very easy to control with their "prescribe" language.

Hi Srinivas,

For printing a barcode you need the DIMM Chip in your printer. If you have it you have to upload the true type font. If you dot have the font file. You can download or mail me in my id bala.raja@hcl.in. Whenu upload the font file you can use the barcode like ordinary font.
