Hi everyone!
We are facing a barcode problem on an upgrade from 4.6 to ECC 6.04. The barcode prints through a Sapscript on a HP8150n printer. On 6.04 it prints the text from the variable instead of the barcode. In the main window of the script it's defined as follow:
/ ,,
BC is defined as char. format and associated with barcode ZCODBAR.
Pinter config is the same as in 4.6, but only for the driver versión HPL2 HP LaserJet driver PCL4/P ver. 16 that changed to 985.
¿Does anyone had a similar scenario? Any suggestions, advice will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

We faced a simliar problem during upgrade. Make sure that the print controls for the device type used for the ouput device used for printing is correctly maintained in accordance with your older version in SPAD.

Hi Meko,
Directly post the to SAP and you will get files related to bar-code just copy that and it will work. I have the same scenario for production orders and it is working fine now.

Madhu.

Check also SAP notes, especially note 724912 - OTF driver: Command sequence different after upgrade, there are changes between 4.6 and 6.10 (and so between 4.6 and ECC 6)

Thanks to all! The problem was solved. The printer barcode used for this script was missing in ECC 6.04, also the Print Control for it.
