BAPI to update project Budget

Hi Gurus,

I am looking for an FM or BAPI that could simulate the functionality of CJ30 that updates the budget for project.

I will input the project ID and the amount to update the budget.

You can use this function module 'KBPP_EXTERN_UPDATE_CO' to update budget.

Can I have an example code? I tested it but i get a return error for Master Data.

I think because of the object number, should it be existing in the CJ30?

yes, I have to use Project ID and update its budget.

As already written, use KBPP_EXTERN_UPDATE_CO, you can find more information in OSS note  625613 - Interface for overall planning and budgeting.

I dont have access to the OSS note.

Ask your admin, they are able to give you the required authorizations, or can extract the note in a pdf format. (© document)
