BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SPLIT_DEC

Hi,

I am using IDOC WHSCON for GI and splitting the Outbound delivery in case of partial shipment and BAPI BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SPLIT_DEC is used for splitting the outbound delivery. But a new Outbound delivery is created even when the idoc processing fails which actually should not happen. I cannot implement the processing of BAPI after the IDOC processing is done since this piece of code is used in the subroutine DELIVERY_IDOC_PARSE. Call Function in Update taks is also not possible for this FM. Any ideas/suggestions on how to overcome this.
