BAPI for F-02 for Asset Code

Hi Gurus,

I am looking for a BAPI to upload asset through F-02 T-code. I have checked many BAPIs like 'BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_CHECK', 'BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_POST' and 'BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST' but did not get the desired result.

I request everyone to help me in this regard ? Is there any other way to get it uploaded as BDC aint possible for this T-code.

F-02 is for GL posting and 'BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_POST' should work for you. What desired result you did not get can you please explain us

Hi Mr. Nabheet,

I am not able to get field of Asset in the BAPI. This BAPI takes Posting key automatically but I dont know about Asset. Field is 'RA01B-ANLN1'. I am sorry if I have been missing out anything.

I think the Asset gets populated based on posting key/account, we dont have to input asset to the BAPI

Hi Sachin,

     Thanks for the quick response,I don't want to populate Assets based on Posting key. I have hundreds of assets, how would system get to know which Asset I want to sell.

Scenario 2. How would system get to know, which Asset I want to retire using t-code F-02.

You sell assets with transaction F-02 and not F-92 ?

Also read 643232 - General BAPIs do not generate asset line items for restriction on ACC BAPI usage with assets -> Usage of BADI ACC_DOCUMENT may be required.

Hi,

Use BAPI_ASSET_ACQUISITION_POST for asset posting
