Hi all,

Is it possible to use BADI as Interface like BAPI.

Generally we can use BAPI as a interface with dot net so that user can read sap data through .net appln.

Is it possible to use BADI as interface to dot net

Thanks

Hai,

There is a big Difference between BDI and BAPI:

Badi is Business Add-in, Means adding Objects for enhancement is standard Program.

BAPI is Business Application Programming Interface, This is For Interface between SAP to SAP or Between SAP to any third Party.\

So you cannot use bapi as BADi,

HI,

BADI is a mode for enhancing standard applications in SAP, so it may not be the right way to use it as an interface with external applications. BAPI is an RFC which allows it to act as a bridge with external application, so I don't think you can use BADI as an Interface as you use BAPI.

Sachin

Hi shelly,

Thanks for your answer.

Besides BAPI, is there anything in SAP which can work as interface with 3rd party.

Thanks

hai pabitra,

If you are interfacing SAP with .net, it has to be through BAPI.
