For a given BADi how do i know if there is any implementation at all.

yes there is a badi implementation by using se19 Tcode check it there which type of method do u want.

Go to SE18.. give BADI name .. go to menubar Implementation --> overview

there u will get all implmentations..

To check other implementations of BADi go to

Implementation -> Display.

Here u can get all the BADi's implemented.

look up in table SXS_INTER with exit_name = badi_name

Give ur badi in SE18 tcode and then clikc on Implementation menu and then display where all z implementations will be displayed.
