How do schedule a background job for a program which shall run for every 15 minutes.

Use transaction SM36
Type in a name for the Job you want to create.
Job Class defines the priority
Deside which server you want the job to run on
Click on Step enter program name & variant that you want to use
Arrow back.
Click on start condition
Click on date & time
enter initial start date & time
click on period values & select other period.
Save your job.

Hi Mac Mohan,
The following procedure you should follow to schedule a background job for every 15 minutes.
Steps:
-> Create a Variant for the Program
-> Go to SM36 to create a Job
-> Click STEP tab and enter Program name and a Variant.
-> Click on Start Condition
-> Click on DATE and TIME and
enter date scheduled Start
and End times
-> Click on Period Values
-> Click on Other time and enter 15 minutes
Use SM37 Transaction to check the status of JOB.

Hi,
SM36 is used to define Background jobs.
In SM36 u can set the Job, Time for evry 15 mins....
