Hi, experts.

I'm trying to set authorization with "M_BEST_BSA".

I have a question about "ACTVT" 04 on this object.

What's the meaning of "print, edit messages", and what can be allowed with this authorization?

Hi

With this authorization object, it is possible to restrict the maintenance of via the document type.

The authorizatión 04 is for allow print the document type in first field, and allow edit the message that appear in document type. If you don't enable this option, the user could not print.

Hi,

you can get an idea from SU24 (table USOBT_C). So if you check where SAP is proposing activity 04 for object M_BEST_BSA. It's proposed for transactions like ME92F, ME92K, ME92L and so on.

Activity 04 allows a person to print the document.
