Or else how to find the Authorization group and application type for a new zprogram...

what is the difference between system program and customer production program?

Hi Sona,

You can get these details either from Basis or from functional consultant.

They are just the categorization of different programs. Any program which you develop and going to be moved in production should be assigned to customer production program.

The main difference is you can not use debugging in System programs.

You can create your own authorization type for an zprgram and for this you does not need the ne help of a basis person, yes if you want to save those data under a particular transport request than you may need the help of the basis person.

The SAP standard program is called as the system progarm and the report name start with the z* is called as sthe customer production program.

how do you create authorization type?

You can find these 2 when u create a pgm in se38 drop dwn list for attributes.

SAP standard Production program

System program

Customer production program

test program

You say SAP standard Production program and system program are same ? is it ?whats the differenece?
