hello!

I want to copy data element PRDNI into ZPRDNI and

assign to it parameter id so i can use it later on.

is it possible?

how do i do it?

U would be able to do the same via SE11 transaction

Either you can copy it or use PRDN1 as the reference type.

Also, for parameter id check the <u>Further Characteristics</u> tab and you would be able to define the same.

Yes it is! By SE11 insert the data element PRDNI and press copy.

yes, you can do that.

in SE11->copy your PRDNI to ZPRDNI.then you can use ZPRDNI for your purpose.

after this COPY ,then again goto SE11 go in CHANGE mode of this ZPRDNI dataelement->go to the tab FURTHER CHARACTERISTICS-> here give your new parameter ID.

then ACTIVATE it.

You can do that.You can copy PRDNI into ZPRDNI and go to "Futher Characteristics" tab of the data element and assign a <b>parameter id</b> to the parameter ID field under search help block.

thank you all for ypur answers.

my question was how do i know if there is valid parameter

id for this data element.

and if there isnt how can i create one?

i tried to search, but i couldnt find it.

GOTo SE80->

click on EDIT OBJECT appears on the application tool bar,then on the coming popup->

choose the tab MORE-> here select the radio button-> SET/GET PARAMETER ID -> give your zparameter id and say create.
