Assertion_failed AS

Hi experts,

In the Transaction AS03 (Asset Explorer screen), when i click the 'Posted Vales' tab,system throws dump message saying that Assertion_failed and that the assert condition was violated.

The same is working fine in Development - but throws dump in Production.

Can any experts provide steps for solving this problem and reason for this dump.

Hi,

Thanks for ur immediate reply..

I checked other forums, n they suggested to apply Notes ( Note No.:998730 ) to correct this error. Please chk the Analysis, which is given below.

Error analysis :

The following checkpoint group was used: "No checkpoint group specified"

If in the ASSERT statement the addition FIELDS was used, you can find

the content of the first 8 specified fields in the following overview:

" (not used) "

" (not used) "

" (not used) "

" (not used) "

" (not used) "

" (not used) "

" (not used) "

" (not used) "
