application document not posted

hey guys can anybody help me in traansfering data using lsmw idoc method for material master data iam trying to do it iam getting error application document not posted in the status record of the idoc

Hi,

Go to the transaction WE02 and display the IDOC..

Expand the status tree...Then under the 51 status..You will see the error description..Why it failed..

yeah i did it and it is giving error as application document not posted?any clue naren

Check if there is something in the application log - transaction SLG1.

Hi,

are you sure there are error messages under the status 51??

If there is no specific message...Then you can debug the program and check why it is getting failed...

This is a very generic message...Not sure why it is failing..

Hi Janapathi,

I Think the error is some problem in segments.

Every segment contins the field i think some filed getting error that why it is showing the error. Plz u can go for the debug mode we can find the which segement giving error. The T.code for debug is We19. Or some predefined programs are there go try tp use that.
