Giovanni,

If by "split" you mean to "word wrap" the text in a cell... it is not possible even in the current release.

But your question was about the ALV Grid in SAP, correct?

Hi,

Unfortunately, you cannot merge or split cells, in a ALV grid.

The maximum you can do is when you SORT, there is a cell merge functionality there will be only row of data shown for all the common data of the column.
