alter table

Hi,

i created a Ztable,activated it,added it to a transport request and used it in other programs.

now i need to delete 2 fields from this table...when i delete fields from table and try to activate the table..

the error message is ALTER TABLE is not possible.Structure change at field level (convert table AUFT_DF002). Check on table /ZAUFT_DF002 resulted in errors

can any one tell me what are the necessary steps.please help me in resolving this error.

Go to SE14 (Database Utility), adjust the table via the pushbutton on screen (and choose radiobutton 'Save data').

Don't forget to reward points.

from SE11

enter table name

display

from Menu Utilities-> database utility

select last button ACTIVATE and ADJUST database table

Save data

you do it and come to the table it will be active
