ADT WebDynpro Error Codepage

Hi,

last weekend we upgraded our SAP system (non-unicode) to 7.4 Sp7

Now we want to use ADT for WebDynpro developement but facing a problem.

We are a german company so we are using 'ÄÖÜ' in our coding. If we save our WD-methods an Error ocured, because he couldn't convert this characters correct to eclipse workbench (it shows some signs like "?" )

If i replace this ? with 'ÄÖÜ' inside eclipse it works and i can save the component. If i press reload the same issue occured again.

I hope there is some workaround inside Eclipse (using ISO Codepage i tried already...) or some SAP note .

Thanks

best regards Tobias

Hi Tobias,

I don't know any Web-Dynpro-specific issues related to non-unicode systems.

Do you face this issue only for Web Dynpro or can you also reproduce it for other development objects like programs, classes, ...?

Thanks,

Michael

Hi Tobias,

I have just asked my colleagues to have a look at this issue. They have more experience in the area of Web Dynpro than me.
