Adding new fields to existing custom include

Hi Experts,

     I have a requirement to add new field to already existing custom include of standard infotype, the standard infotype already has many custom fields in it. I have added new field to CI... include, how do I get this field in Pa30 screen ?

Hi

After include your fields activate the Include,Ptable,PSstructure and after activated these.

Goto PM01 transaction give the infotype for which you have added these fields click on Generate Objects button.

It will solve your issue and your added fields will appear in PA30.

Hi Sreeram,

I have activated the custom include and the infotype is having my new field now, these are in place already. If the click on generate objects will all the existing fields and existing layout will remain? it is saying the include already exist do you want to overwrite it.

In your case you need to select the overwrite option.
