Adding a T-code in Parent role (APO)

Hi All

Need to check if we can insert the transactions: "/SAPAPO/SDP" and "/SAPAPO/AMON2" into anyone of the Parent DAGu2019s.

Any suggestions or SAP Notes would be of great help.

Have you tried adding them into the parent roles? There shouldn't be any problem with this. If there is, exactly what error message are you getting?

These are transactions which are loaded with APO/SCM

first find out using SUIM if this transactions exist in the system.

If not ask your basis team to help you on adding the required content/add-on .

Once that is done you should not be having any problem in inserting in them into any type of role.

Yes you can add these tcodes in parent role.

Prior to that check whether the tcodes are not locked by system adm.

Locked t-code won't stop it being added to a role, just stop it working.

I dont think I need to know the error also. After reading your question

First find out the functionality of the tcode(is it basis tcode / development related tcode) and then add it to the right parent role.
