Hello,
I have created a custom BAPI which i can see in the BAPI Explorer, but only in the alphabetical tab, not in the hierarchy tab. In order to try to fix this issue I have adjusted the application component assignment of the corresponding package (BAPI -> function module -> function group -> package) to CRM-MD-BP, but the BAPI is still not appearing in the hierarchy.
Can someone provide a hint to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Wladimir,
According to SAP Note: 706195, this might because of the built-in index not updated .
The solution below should be sufficient for your case:

Thanks Xavier. I have tried this approach last night as well. It seemed not work, but this morning the bapi finally is available in the hierarchy. In my opinion there might been some sort of delay (batch etc.), therefore the hierarchy haven't been adopted directly after the execution of the function module.

Normally it should update immediately after you executed this FM, anyway glad to know that you managed to get it resolved.

If you are not on a production system (who care of BAPI hierarchy in a production system ?) that could have been a problem of buffering, so you could have try some special ok_code from Note 26171 - Possible entry values for command field ("OK-code") to reset buffers (look for /$SYNC or similar ok_codes)

Hi Raymond,
thanks for this hint. I need the hierarchy for the development of mobile apps with the Sybase Unwired Platform. The sybase unwired workspace is just able to read the BAPIs of a sap system in the hierarchy. An option to list the BAPIs in an alphabetical order is not available in the unwired workspace, so that is the reason for my post.
