Not sure of the question, but if you are looking to access your clients systems remotely,

1. You need to have dedicated link with your client

2. Client should provide you the system access via VPN

I am not aware of any other methods ..

1. You need to be on client's network ...

Parameters for VPN ... Usually this is done by the Network Administrator / BASIS team.

On your system you will need a VPN client software and internet connectivity.
