can anyone describe the steps for copying an IDOC?

Just go to WE30 and you can copy a existing IDOC type into a new one.

Hi Elviz

Goto WE30 Trancation and give some name(ZBETMAS01) and choose Create Icon(F5)then you will get 'Create Basic type : ZBETMAS01' Dialog box in that select 'Create a Copy' and enter the IDOC name which you want to copy Example: BETMAS01.

Hi Elvez,

Whluie creating New IDOC type thro WE30,

You have got an option to copy the same from any existing IDOC type.

Using this you will be able to achieve your requirement.
