Hi..

Can any one tell how a program ID is generated..and where can i find it????

If you want to know where the program names are stored you can check the table

TRDIR

Check this in table TADIR and TRDIR tables.

TADIR-PGMID "CHECK THIS

this is generated at the time of program creation.

to edit a standard ABAP program for which an access key is required. Now in order to get the access key the BASIS Administrator has to feed in the Program-ID

go to stsndard program . when u click edit button pop up comes and in that pop

in first line object have value in one line but in three break...
