About DataBase Interface??

Dear all,

I have a very basic question regarding the database interface component of the WorkProcess.

I know very well that the database interface will convert the Open SQL to the corresponding Native Sql for accessing data from the database.

Before fetching the data from the database,the database interface will check the local buffer on the application server for any stored record for the current request.

My question is whether the database interface will convert the Open SQL to the corresponding native sql before checking the local buffer content on the application server??
