about catsdb table

hi all,

i got 5 specs on catsdb table........

actually iam very new to that table...

can u pls explain when the data will updated into this tale ?

and if an employee books over time in the time sheet how can we know?

is there any field in catsdb or it can be find from other table ?

please help me out in this asap.

Normally this table is filled by the employees using transaction CAT2. However, in ESS (employee Self service) scenario, table is filled from ' external application' .

In table CATSDB there is a field called VERSL (Overtime Compensation Type).

Overtime hours are determined by customizing. Go ask a functional consultant (if around) which codes match overtime.

Else ask HR consultant to get information on overtime. Or use some BAPI like BAPI_TIMEAVAILSCHEDULE_BUILD to get the available time stored in HR.
