For beginners go for sams series ABAP in 21 days.

But i would suggest you to learn online. YOu have lots of info(If you have a net connection).

Hi ,

there are some 4,5 books available.better to start with ABAP in 21 days which covers database concepts and all the basics widely.

then we have some other books but i didnt remember author names exacyly.but after reading 21 days book better to practice with SAP transaction ABAPDOCU or ABAPHELP .you will get lot of information.Instead og going thru all the websites in the beginning stage its better to refer saplibrary and if you have any doubts you can post question to forum.

so first 21 days book next abapdocu transaction,sap librarary .
