Hi welcome to SAP-ABAP

1) ABAP i.e. Advance Busines Aplication programming.which is 4th generation language.

ABAP is R/3 Proraming language which is written in C and syntax of this lang is interpretated by BASIS that is middleware for SAP.

To learn more about SAP read OOPs concept and 'ABAP in 21 days' . it is very easy and helpful.

as well SDN and help.sap is very helpful.

i will recomend u get the book 'ABAP objects'
