ABAP Query SAPDBx 50003 Unknown Error

Hi experts,

I'm trying to modify an Query InfoSet at SQ02 t-code. In update mode, when I press Go To -> Join the following pop-up error message appears:

Unexpected Error:

Module: SAPDBxVisualQuery.VisualQuery

Function: UserControl_Initialize

Error No: 50003

Error: Unexpected error

I have to add a couple of fields from a new table (actually, the query reads information from 2 tables, I need to add a third one).

Any idea of what does the error mean?

Hello,

In regard to the error you can check if the same problem occurs in all

your PCs. I believe that the problem is related to the SAPGUI.

This problem is documented in the SAP note 557882, so you can follow those

instructions, but I would also recommend to reinstall and upgrade your SAPGUI to the latest patch level.
