Hi there,

Dialog prog. in short is making user friendly screens to help him interpret the data , and helps him to get the result he wants.

Screens and reports are basically used for this purpose.

There r 4 parts.

Selection-screen.-It is basically used for inputing values to the program running in the background.

Screens:These are used for both output as well as input

These hae many other functionalities which help in programming (module pool programming)

Subscreen - its a part of screen which can be displayed in the main screen and has the same functionalities as the screen.

Modular screen- it is not th full sized screen, but a tailor made screen of the size of a window.

Reports.

These r generated by programming and can be designe to show a particular class of data underlying in the database.

And as mentioned above you will get all the theory of programming these in the above sites .
