When I am trying to logon to Production server through SAP GUI 710 , I am getting a logon error 88. Then I check the network connectivity and also the services file, SAPmsg.ini . Everything is fine. Even I reinstalled the SAP GUI but it does not worked .

I also tried the following :

1. click Start Menu -> Run

2. Type sapgui < hostname> <system number>

3. click ok now

I got the following message dispalyed

"Connection to application server broken

WSATYPE_NOT_FOUND"

dear all,

you have to check network connection (ping) between your client where SAPGUI exist and your server. if it is ok, then maybe your logon config must be checked, is there something wrong : system ID, system number ?
