Process Controls 2.0 is a new product, it is currently in Ramp Up

It is <b>NOT</b> a replacement of MIC, since the functionality provided by each product is very different.

Will MIC functionality appear in later versions of PC, who knows

When you say configuring GRC PRocess control, do you mean configuring Compliance calibrator, Risk Terminator, Fire Fighter , Access enforcer....?

Those applications you mention fall within 'Access Controls'. Process Controls is another GRC application that helps document risks and controls, performs some automated testing, links to Compliance Calibrator, facilitates manual testing, facilitates compliance etc. It is the replacement for SAP Management of Internal Controls (MIC). It is a new product.

Dear Justin,

Do I take it that SAP MIC is/has already been phased out and replaced with GRC Process Controls? Has there been any official communication from SAP regarding the same? The reason I ask is to be better equipped when customers enquire about MIC. What is the stand to be taken as a GRC Consultant?
