What is OSS login ID?

Hi Sadaf,

Generally OSS ID is used for searching snotes for ABAP/functional consultants.

It will be more useful for BASIS consultants for software downloads and getting latest releases and upgrades.

Just click on link mentioned by Gaurav. it will ask provide username and password twice. After succesful login if you click Help & support and serach for sap notes and KBA's then you can serach for sap notes.

it asks me user and password, now which user and password in supposed to give? user and password of SCN or OSS ID>

Its oss id and password which you got from SAP if oss and scn user id are different. Remember that portal asks you id and password twice.

you might need to contact sapers to get your SID's pass and then logon service.sap.com

Yes they are different but I i only have OSS login ID not the password(how to make one?).

Hi Sadaf,

      I got my SID five years ago after I took my PA lessons.Then I got a certificate with SID written on without password. I contacted sapers which was in charge of sap pa education of my country area. He sent me the pass, so I think you can contact yours.
