GRC WorkFlow

Hi, i have implemented GRC in New Client and created new sample WF with only manager step. now i after submitting new request, successfully submit and request goes to approver but if  i didnt find any item in approver inbox. can anyone say which configuration is pending for new client? Dear Arif,

sounds a bit strange to me.

Did you check if the approver has the proper authorization? Do you see in the log (audit log/instance status) that the item has been assigned to the designated approver? Did the approver receive a notification?

It is very difficult to analyze your issue from the distance as we do not know any information in detail.

Hi Alessandro, Thanks for your reply, approver has all authorization but there is no request item approver inbox. Audit log showing 0 entries. i didnt configure mail notification yet. can you please share me which configuration steps is require? Regards, Arif

Dear Arif,

best if you share the msmp workflow configuration for your new workflows so that we can check how it works. Probably some of our specialist can easily see where the issue comes from.

Notifications can be defined in msmp workflow. You need to pre-define notification messages (spro > grc > ac > workflow for ac) with corresponding notification message (se61).

this is vey strange. But just as a check, even if I know it sounds weird, but can you check in the work inbox if the screen is refreshed? You can see that on the bottom right.

All the settings seem to be correct.

Hi Arif,

Recently for one my client, after SP upgrade(SP11 toSP15) got an issue which Alessandro has mentioned.

Try to click on different sub workitems, that will refresh your screen or 'refresh' button at right botton.

If this is the reason then fine otherwise have noticed similar issue when all workflow customizing has not been performed(SPRO->GRC->General Setting->Workflow->Automatic/Task customizing) plus even linkage mapping via node workflow for Access Control.

Additionally to what Nishant has mentioned you can also check the powl query definition (POWL_QUERY) for the inbox querys (GRFN_INBOX_ALL, GRFN_INBOX_AC).

Make sure that the refresh type is "On every list visit", so that the list gets refreshed each time you open the work inbox.

  , can you please assist on the POWL issue via another discussion thread as well.

Solution mentioned by you has been already tried, we raised and SAP POWL team updated to execute report POWL_D01. Still no help. If you can provide some solution will be of great help.

I have refreshed several times but no item in inbox. i also checked POWL setting and found also same like you as mentioned.

Hi Arif,

have you done post installation correctly.

you need to complete the attach 2 nodescompletely.
