Hi Rahul,

In the customising of the order type (VOV8), you have the Lead time in days field. This determines what the requested delivery date of the sales order is. The requested delivery date of the sales order is stored in VBAK-VDATU.

So if I maintain a value of 5 in "Lead time in days" and create a sales order today, I get a value of 2nd April in VBAK-VDATU. Today + 5 days - weekend days = 2nd April.

The value of VBAK-VDAT is automatically passed to the item "First Date" field. This happens at the following code:

SAPFV45P FORM XVBAP_LESEN (Include FV45PFAP_XVBAP_LESEN)

*********************************************************

* Vorschlagswerte für Zeilen ohne Einteilung

  IF VBEP-ETENR = 0.

    VBEP-EDATU = VBAK-VDATU.     <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

    VBEP-PRGRS = VBAK-VPRGR.

    IF VBEP-PRGRS = SPACE.

      VBEP-PRGRS = CHAR1.

    ENDIF.

  ENDIF.

*********************************************************

Obviously, different items can have different requested delivery dates. But for this to happen, you need to change the date manually. Or you could use USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP to automatically fill the field for you based on your own logic.

Hi Noel,

The filed First delivery date filed is activated for my sales order type ZDFR, but for order type ZDUF the filed is hidden.

I have attached the screen shot, please check.

To be honest, I have never seen this field being used in this screen before. However, I did a quick test and yes it does exist!

The screen that you are looking at is screen 4480 in program SAPMV45A. If you go to SE80, and look at this screen by displaying the layout there, you will see that there are actually a lot of elements on this screen that are not displayed.

The specific field highlighted by you is RV45A-ETDAT. This belongs to to screen group 3 '043'. See the following code:

SAPMV45A FORM FELDAUSWAHL_SONDERREGELN (Include MV45AFFE_FELDAUSWAHL_SONDERREG)

*******************************************

*   Zu den Feldern gehören Auftragsmenge, 1.Lieferdatum usw.

    WHEN '043'.

*        Regel1: Wenn keine Einteilungen erlaubt sind,

*                werden die Felder ausgeblendet.

      IF tvap-eterl = ' ' AND

         NOT tvap-pstyv IS INITIAL OR

         tvap-pstyv IS INITIAL AND

         vbak-vbtyp CA vbtyp_ohne_einteilung.

        screen-active = 0.

      ENDIF.

*******************************************

This is code that changes if screen group 043 is displayed on the screen depending on TVAP (Order type) entries.

Screen group 043 contains the elements you see in the row beside the first delivery date.

I would set a breakpoint at the above code and then run both examples, check if there is a difference in the TVAP table at the above point to see if this code is causing the issue.

Hi Noel,

Hi

What do you mean by first delivery date? Delivery date is already there in sale order overview screen and in schedule line details as well. Are these fields not fulfilling your requirement?

Delivery date is there in schedule line and if you want more than one delivery dates and want one of them as your first delivery date then use ETDAT delivery date as your first delivery date of first schedule line and create multiple schedule line for that item.

Thank$

HI,

lets say If i have three line item and i want to change the delivery date, in that case i have to get into the schedule line and change the delivery date, this is my current scenario. I believe the first delivery date in the sales order is the only option where making changes in it, will change the the delivery dates for the three line item, so in order to do this the first date delivery should be there and currently it is unavailable.

The first date should appear in the table where the material, plant etc. appear. Dont think it appears anywhere else
