The way the sunset process works, is that we will create a new read-only "Archived Content" area of the Community that we will move the entire group and its content to. This means that all the content of the inactive groups will still remain in the public community, and can be found both by search and by navigation. Sunsetting groups will therefore also not affect any community member's reputation, as all content you have published to any of the sunset groups will remain in your profile.
