Workflow - Program Exits, Not triggering for Old Workitems

Dear Team,

I have an issue, i have writtem some logic in workflow program exits. Its working for old(Created before writing the program exit) and new workitems(Created after program exit changes) in Development system. But in Quality system, its working only for new workitems being created. For old Workitems, its not triggering.

What might be be the possibe reasons ?

When debugged, i am not getting the exit for for the Workitem, BUt in dev system, i am getting it.

CL_SWF_RUN_WIM_LOCAL->_CALL_WORKITEM_EXIT

Maybe the exits are part of the "version-dependent" data of the workflow definition. Can you check that? (some data are in the "version-dependent" tab and some other data are in the "version-independent" tab)
