while target installation getting error unable to load DB2 library libdb2.so

Hello,

I am doing target installation on hp aix. ehp 4 ecc 6.0 & database is DB2.

while import abap got the error at testing database connection.

unable to load DB2 library '/usr/sap/PRD/SYS/global/db6/HPIA64/db6_clidriver/lib/libdb2.so'

Reason: Unable to find library '/usr/sap/PRD/SYS/global/db6/HPIA

Hello,

Is the specified file located under '/usr/sap/PRD/SYS/global/db6/HPIA64/db6_clidriver/lib'?
The error seems to point to a failed installation of CLI driver.

I suggest to take a careful check with the following documents first.

• Official guide (here)
• SAP note 1091801 - DB6: Conversion of client connectivity

Then re-install the CLI driver from scratch.

Yes, i got it. When i was installing, it havnt asked for the cli driver.
