What is Xcelsius

Hi,

I am new to BO. In simple language can somebody tell me what is Xcelsius and where it is used. I just know that this is a dashboard tool.

As for what you can use Xcelsius for, some common tasks are:

-It is often used for "What-If analysis". That is, you have a chart with a set of values. You can then change some of the values to see what the effect on the whole would be.

-Dashboards - you can retrieve data from a number of different sources - including "query as a web service" to show live data.

-Really nice looking charts and graphs that can be exported to SWF (And other formats) and then imported into a crystal report (With CR 2008)

This is some of the basic functionality. If you can give me an idea of what you are looking for, I can give you some better info.
