Webi hyperlink not working in Chrome

I have a report with a column of links, where each row/ item links to the corresponding PDF file stored in a database. The links works perfectly well in Internet Explorer/ Edge but when run in Chrome, nothing happens when clicked. (right-click and open shows an empty page on a new page.

However, i have Another link column in the same report that works in this context, but is an OpenDocument link, linking directly to Another report.

No one running in to similar problems with Chrome?
