Webi Default mode should show Available Objects

Hi All,

When opened the webi report on launchpad, I could not see the "Available Objects" option by default. I have to click on 'Design' to see it. How can I enable the "Available Objects" option by default for the users so that they can directly drag and drop the objects on to the report.

Hi Santosh,

Please follow the steps mentioned below it will resolve your issue:

1. Log in to CMC using Admin User.

2. Go to "Users & User Groups"

3. Right Click on User Group which User having issues belong.

4. Select -> Customization

5. In Customization under "User Interface Elements -> Side Panel" -> Check option "Available Objects"

6. "Save and Close"

I hope this will resolve your issue

NOTE: "Available Object" pane is hidden for all user (including Admin) in View Mode.

Hi Santosh,

Go to the preferences --> web intillegence --> check the default View option as Applet mode.

Thanks for the reply.Users open the webi reports from dashboards. After setting to 'Applet' , report is taking long time to open but still could not see the 'Available Objects'.
