Virtual Elements Updated from action

Hi Experts,

I have a custom Fiori application , in Projection view there is a virtual element added which is a qty field . The requirment is to update the virtual field for the selected records in the fiori application on a button click through RAP action.The qty field should be calculated for user on click and show the value temporarily in the new virtual column in the list report. Kindly guide on how this can be achieved ,in ABAP class of the virtual field the global variables set inside the behaviour class is not available or getting cleared.
