Using stored procedures to access/process SAC Planning data

Hi all,

We were wondering if it is possible to configure a live connection in SAC and then access the resulting artifact(view, model, table...) in order to use that "virtual" data and consume it in some stored procedures in HANA DB through Business Application Studio. The reason for that is that we want to avoid replicating/acquiring data. If that is the case, what will be required in order to achieve accessing that data?

Hi Pedro,

No, I don't think it's possible right now.

So far for the external system to access data from SAC, you will have to either export the data from SAC (via connection), or use the new data export API (planned to be released in 2022.Q2).

One workaround is to see if Analytic Application will be able to meet such requirement, but it depends on the use case how you want to use the data and how this application can be connected with external system.
