Using ODP between two SAP BW systems: Delta process for source ADSO

Hi all

We would like to transfer some data from an ADSO to another SAP BW system using ODP.

The datasource based on this ADSO was directly available in the other BW system after replication (without using report RODPS_OS_EXPOSE). The ADSO in BW source system is a customer object, designed like a classical DSO with ChangeLog table.

For the same OPD source system we have another datasource which is based on a classical DSO. For this datasource it is possible to load the data via delta, but for the datasource based on the ADSO this is not possible. Only full upload or FIL0 "Delta with After Images" is available. For the classical DSO I can also use ABR "Complete Delta".

Why is delta-transfer possible for classical DSOs and not for ADSOs? Or have I done a wrong setting?

Solution: I had to implement SAP note 2334387 "ODP Context for BW and realtime subscriptions". Now delta load works.

When creating the ADSO did you select the option for "Write change log table" in the Modelling Properties section?

This may be your issue since the complete Delta from a DSO uses the Change Log to identify delta records.
