USE ATC to check customizing request

Hello

We have implemented the ATC server and it works correctly.

From the standard checks till some specific developments.

We would like to propose an enhancement about ATC

We think than the ATC tool could be used as well to check the customizing request to prevent the modification into some standards customizing tables.

By example, some functional process could be defined and cost a lot time and regression tests if some modification are done into, without the approval of the business owners.

I do not see any check currently possible into customizing requests, I propose to add this possbility through the ATC tool.

I do not know whether this is possible in ATC. My first thought was about the feature for checking critical objects in the TMS.
Maintenance of critical objects in table TMSTCRI via SM30 or transaction STMS_TCRI or STMS > Import Overview > Extras > Critical Transport Objects.
Check of transport requests in STMS > Import Overview > Import Queue > Check > Critical Objects (for all queues) or in STMS > Import Overview > select a Queue > Queue > Check > Critical Objects (for a single queue).
There is also a TMS parameter for this: CHK_CRIOBJ_AT_EXPORT (Check for critical objects before release).

Hi,

I have found out a good solution by using a badi: CTS_REQUEST_CHECK

To check the DDIC objects, I have developed an ATC class, it will allow us to have a better coordination between SAP and legacy systems to communicate the modification before having some dumps (:)).
