I need to be able to display a workflow approval step for a user in a portal using Universal Worklist page (com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.uwl_page).
My question is where does the Universal Worklist get its content from? And how do I send a workflow approval notification to the universal worklist in a portal?
The UWL is just a workplace for all your workflows executed in the backend system.You need to configure your UWL iview in portal so that the portal user gets all his workitems in the portalfrom the backend sap system. Workflow works as usual as in your R/3 system.Only the inbox differs.
