1,534

Hi Experts,

I followed the following steps properly as mentioned in the below link.

https://blogs.sap.com/2011/11/16/aae-archiving-in-sap-pi-711-with-xmldas/

I am now facing the below issue in JAVA archieving cockpit.

I have given all the required access and roles to the user for connecting to the HTTP destination.Even while pinging the destination ,it is returning message of 200.

The background jobs which I scheduled are also not running properly

.

I don’t see any logs in any of the jobs.

Can you please help in this matter.

Dear Karan,

It refers to additional configuration issue, see SAP Help:

https://help.sap.com/doc/saphelp_nwmobile711/7.11.13/de-DE/45/37367971534c2ee10000000a1553f6/content...

See Prerequisites phase. An archiving set supports the write function if it has implemented Job Beans, for more information see under SAP NetWeaver Scheduler for Java:

https://help.sap.com/doc/saphelp_nwmobile711/7.11.13/de-DE/44/30b90c9a8b3f09e10000000a114a6b/framese...

If is it not set correctly the above error message appeares. If an archiving set does not support this write function, its sessions can still be viewed under Monitor:

https://help.sap.com/doc/saphelp_nwmobile711/7.11.13/de-DE/45/3736c271534c2ee10000000a1553f6/content...

and Hierarchy:

and its properties can be changed under Configure:

Dear Karan,

I am not sure why the archiving job shows successfull status, but I am sure there is a misscofiguration regarding the mainained user.

Check if the XML DAS communication user (used in destination "DASdefault") is configured correctly according to the SAP Help documentation. Gather hints from the options:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/43/68fac39a363d33e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm

If you know the user please reset its password and maintain it again.

Other option is: open NWA search for destinations and select DASdefault HTTP destination and maintain logon data for this destination with a user having the roles NWA_SUPERADMIN and SAP_ARCH_SUPERADMIN and try to execute job again.

Hi Barnabas,

Thanks for you reply.

As I told in the question already that ,while pinging the the destination we are getting a response message of 200 (which means the connection is OK).I don't think there is any issue with the user and destination.

We also rested the password, but still showing the same issue in Java Archieving Cockpit.

The roles NWA_SUPERADMIN and SAP_ARCH_SUPERADMIN are also added to the user.

Hi Barnabas,

Now we are able to access Java Archieving Cockpit. We had to enable "XML Data Archiving Service " in SAP Netweaver Functional Units.

But now we are unable to write the folder in which we are going to archieve. It is showing the below error.

Any Idea on this?
